Sanfona perform at Bar Oussou, 653 Sydney Rd, Brunswick on Friday 12th June, 2026 from 7 - 9pm. Sanfona play jazz infused with high energy improvisations, colourful melodies and toe-tapping grooves, transforming music by artists such as Richard Galliano, Django Reinhardt, Serge Luc and Ludovic Beier. Sanfona musician’s have toured nationally and internationally to festivals such as Wangaratta Jazz Festival; Stonnington Jazz Festival; Ozemanouche; Live en Aout, and many more. The group have been making their mark on the Melbourne scene and steadily gaining new fans with their unique sound of French/ European groove based jazz performances at many venues around Melbourne and regional Victoria. Sanfona have been featured on radio jazz shows such as 3PBS :”Global Village”; Joy FM “Bent Notes” and 3CR: “Swing’n’Sway” and “Music Matters”.

La Salonnière is a monthly French cultural evening in Melbourne bringing together French native speakers, French learners, gastronomy, culture, conversation, music, and French-inspired businesses around a different theme each month.  

Deep South Brass 8 are a high energy, New Orleans influenced band who play a mix of jazz, funk, blues originals and covers. Inspired by the contemporary brass bands of New Orleans, with nods to The Big easy's luminaries of Trombone Shorty, Jon Cleary, Dr John and the Rebirth Brass band.

Sanfona perform at Kindred Studios, 3 Harris St, Yarraville on Friday 26th June, 2026 . Sanfona are part of the line-up for “Worth the Wallet” series at Kindred Studios in June, 2026. The Capitol Theatre Orchestra perform at the Brunswick Ballroom, 314 Sydney Rd, Brunswick on Saturday 4th July at 2pm. The Capitol Theatre Orchestra is a Melbourne based 1920s-style jazz orchestra celebrating the joy of the Jazz Age.
As the resident orchestra at the iconic Capitol Theatre, they bring authentic orchestral arrangements from the 20s and 30s to life.
